John Underwood is the director of the Centre for Health Communication Research at Buckinghamshire New University.  Formerly a political journalist, John has spent the past 30 years working with NHS organisations on both proactive and reactive communication issues.  He is currently working with NHS Providers and NHS Confederation on a career development programme for professional health communicators.
