Claire Riley is executive director of Corporate Governance, Communications and Involvement – a role she has held since May 2022.  Before that Claire was the executive director of communications and corporate affairs at Northumbria Healthcare where she has led a multi award-winning team for 12 years. Claire is a qualified marketer, has a post graduate diploma in marketing and a BA (Hons) in Business Management & Organisations with extensive experience in business, marketing and communications across public and private sectors. She is a qualified and experienced lecturer. Previously, Claire was director of communications for the North East Strategic Health Authority, and was the marketing manager for Northumbrian Water Ltd.
